Bree – Milwaukee (graduated December 2016)

Well, first off I want to drop down to my knees and scream at the top of my lungs that I did it! Next, I would cry like a big baby with disbelief because I can’t believe I did it. Bree walked across the stage with her high school diploma.
With all the challenges that were thrown at me and as much as I wanted to say “I give up”, I’m done. The huge support group that I had standing behind me wouldn’t let me, because they knew I was better than that and whatever I was going through, they stood by my side through it.
I consider the Right Path Program to be my second family and I don’t know where I would be if it wasn’t for them. I am so grateful to have met them. Through all the encouragement and guidance, I feel I’m ready for tomorrow’s challenges. I can handle anything that’s thrown my way. As the saying goes, “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”. Or as my mother would always tell me, “Don’t let anyone tell you the sky’s the limit when there foot prints on the moon”. I finally have my high school diploma. So what’s my next step? Criminal Justice. If I put my mind to it, I can do anything.
