We will be starting a new semester at LIT soon. We still have 15 students that will be enrolled, but we will not be able to add to that number, because of a lack of donations. Many times, when we talk with companies, the first question is what’s in it for them. This irritates me, because with every young person we get off the street and into LIT, the safer the community is. Just read the newspaper and see the number of shootings, assaults, robberies and murders that are occurring in our community. That should be enough to get people involved, instead of sitting back and saying isn’t that terrible. We would appreciate your help in making donations. Just recently, a Houston-based law firm reported that Beaumont is the 3rd most dangerous city with a population more than 100,000 in Texas. Not much to be proud of, but working together as a community, we can make a difference.

Please go to the “Donate Tab” on this website and make a contribution today.  Checks can be mailed to 6545 Calder Ave, Beaumont, TX 77706
