CCEF staff will Visit 23 NewYork State Prison Facilities

September 30, 2016 8:45 pm

Creative Corrections Education Foundation (CCEF) staff will be visiting 23 New York State Prison Facilities in a few weeks to spread the word to staff and inmates about the foundation.

PowerPoint presentations will be provided to inmates in each facility briefing them on how we can break the cycle of young adults following in their parent’s footsteps of going to prison. Our mission at CCEF is to give young adults of the incarcerated a chance to receive scholarships and financial aid for college or trade schools. The inmates will be able to make monetary donations to CCEF to help us with the financial burden of college cost.

CCEF also provides financial aid for young adults in Beaumont, Texas and Milwaukee, Wisconsin communities to enroll in trade schools so they can obtain a trade certificate, allowing them to compete in the business sector for employment. These young adults do not necessarily have a parent in prison. Our goal here is making the communities greater by providing a path for higher education to these individuals so they can become self-supported.

You can help us in this mission by going to the DONATE tab on this website and make a monetary donation today. Checks can be mailed to CCEF, 6545 Calder Ave, Beaumont, Texas 77706
