Right Path Program (Beaumont Texas)

The Right Path Program was established in March 2015.  This program was created to provide educational opportunities to young adults who live in the Southeast Texas area.

Initially CCEF teamed up with Lamar Institute of Technology (LIT) in Beaumont Texas and our primary mission was to place financially challenged young adults in an educational program in LIT, so they can obtain a certificate in a trade. This program was designed to help disadvantaged young adults help themselves be successful by going to school and graduating as a certified technician which will allow them to compete in the business sector.

CCEF’s Right Path Program Beaumont has partnered with Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), in Nederland Texas.  This program allows us to offer classes to ex-offenders returning to the community who are interested in making a difference in their lives.  CCEF and Austin Community College (ACE Grant Program), pay the student’s tuition  at the ABC Training Academy and all we require from the student is to graduate from the course.

Qualified applicants can sign up for the following ABC classes:

Welding – 6 semesters 1 ½ years

Industrial Carpentry – 3 semesters ¾ year

Core Safety – 1 semester 10 weeks
