The Creative Corrections Education Foundation (CCEF) is committed to ending the cycle of second generation crime. One of the CCEF projects is the Right Path Program at the Milwaukee Area Technical College. The Right Path Program targets students who have dropped out of high school and gets them back into a GED/HSED program. On October 7, 2015, the CCEF founder, Percy Pitzer, visited the Right Path Program, its’ students, and the MATC staff involved in this great program. The students were amazing! It was very clear that with the CCEF and their determination, they were committed to succeeding in bettering themselves. Their stories reaffirmed the need for the CCEF and their commitment to the Right Path Program. Also pictured are people instrumental in the success of the Right Path Program, Marty Ordinans, Program Director, Dr. Stan Stojkovic, CCEF board member, and Jose Hernandez, Assistant Superintendent of the Milwaukee House of Corrections.
Many thanks to our dignitary guests, State Representatives, Rob Hutton (not pictured), David Bowen, Jonathan Brostoff, and Mandela Barnes for their attendance and support of this great Milwaukee initiative. Their on-going support is crucial to this Milwaukee program.
Thanks to everyone for making this program a success and keeping kids out of prison!
