CCEF Awards $32,000 in New Scholarships and Financial Aid!

August 26, 2017 7:39 pm

Creative Corrections Education is proud to announce we provided $32,000.00 in scholarships this semester to children of incarcerated parents, at risk young adults and several individuals released from prison into a program through The Association of Builders and Contractors. This organization provided vocational training programs at a very reasonable cost to the student. Working in the system for many years, I find it very important to keep our young people from going to prison in the first place and those being released from prison, from returning to prison. We have a society that is very reactive and I believe if communities worked together in a proactive manner in keeping young people out of the justice system, we would have a much better society.
