Do you have a son/ daughter whose about to graduate from high school? Or who has graduated? Did they drop out? Have they been in trouble with the law or on probation or parole? Are they 18 years of age or older? Do you want them to brighten their education, look no more?
Creative Corrections Education Foundation (CCEF) is assisting Lamar Port Arthur and the Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) with enrollment to ABC for the vocational certificate in carpentry at no cost. Transportation will be provided at a central point in Beaumont and other surrounding cities, if needed. Let us help you register for the upcoming class that will begin March 4, 2019 through May 2, 2019. Classes are from 8am to 5pm Monday through Thursday. (if you can’t make it to this class, don’t fret. I do have a class schedule for the year.) Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
This certificate class will consist with of a nine-weeks training with a focus on construction site safety, site plan reading, basic form building, understanding concrete work, and basic scaffolding. Students completing the course will earn a certificate in construction site carpentry and will also earn the following NCCER certificates: CORE, Carpentry Level 1, Construction Craft Laborer 1, and Scaffolding 1.
