Creative Corrections Education Foundation, Beaumont, TX, has partnered with Associated Builders and Contractors of Southeast Texas. We have begun enrollment for the September semester with 92 students enrolled. They are all on probation, parole, or have had some issues with the law.

Last semester, we started with 73 students. 66 remain in the program. The courses consist of scaffold builder, industrial carpentry, electrical training, welding, instrumentation, pipefitting and core safety. We are also working toward establishing partnerships with local contractors to get our students hired upon completion of the program.

As a retired warden, I strongly believe the only way to reduce recidivism is with a skill and a job. In order to expand the program, we are in need of donations from the community. Your help would be deeply appreciated.
