CCEF Success Story

December 19, 2018 4:27 pm

This is Miranda Cane Debine and I wanted to share her successful testimonial with you. She was one of our students who graduated from our Construction Site Carpentry certificate class, sponsored by Lamar Port Arthur and ABC (Associated Builders, and Contractors) Creative Corrections Education Foundation is very proud of this young lady. She has come a long way and has worked very hard.

This is her testimony:

My name is Miranda Cane Debine. I took the Construction Site Carpentry class in June 2018, I graduated August 16, 2018. I was nervous and overwhelmed at first about jumping into something new and that was in the industrial field. But I completed the class and graduated.

When I graduated, I struggled finding a job for 3 months, I was turned down, for plenty of jobs due to my past. But GOD blessed me with my dream job in Westlake LA at the LACC unit in Scaffolding, so I’m blessed. Thanks to Creative Corrections Education Foundation, Lamar Port Arthur, and ABC (Associated Builders and Contractors) for giving me this opportunity. So never give up your dreams. Dream big and keep pushing.  I am a living witness.  “This can be you, make your dreams come true”.
