A letter from an Inmate on Death Row

CCEF

Please find and accept the enclosed donation of $1.00. I pledge to make this donation of $1.00 every month. This is such a small price to make such a big difference. I have challenged family and friends to join in helping this cause by making the same donations. I gave them the information they will need.

Education is the key to reform. I speak from experience, since I'm being here on death row. I have earned my GED and now in the process of earning a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from (3) major universities.

Leadership is the key to reform. Here at Louisiana State Penitentiary, Angola, education is strongly encouraged and pushed and taken seriously by the Administration. In concern of my education, in the death row unit, the Warden, Classification Officer, Corrections Officers and the Education Department, took a huge interest in getting me started and take an equal amount of interest in seeing that I complete it.

I fully believe in your program and happy to help by making donations.

Sincerely

Daniel.

It is amazing the response we get from the inmate populations around the US. So far, inmates have donated a little over $50,000.00. Because people are in prison, doesn't mean they lost their feelings for others. The largest majority still care.  If we can rally America's inmate population in making a difference, why is it so difficult in rallying a community.  Please help us help young adults across America by making a monetary donation today.  Click on the Donate tab to daonate or checks can be mailed to 6545 Calder Ave, Beaumont, Texas 77706
